Women Will Control 45% of U.S. Wealth by 2030. Most Aren’t Ready. Here’s How to Change That.
According to the 2026 Women, Wealth & the Capital Continuum report, nearly 90 percent of women surveyed by How Women Invest have already made at least one private-market investment. Platforms are lowering the entry points significantly, with some structured funds allowing participation at $25,000 paid over four years.
An LP base that women-led VCs can’t afford to ignore
Going after women LPs “is a hugely under-used opportunity,” says Julie Castro Abrams, managing partner at How Women Invest (HWI), a San Francisco VC firm that’s raising its third fund. “The market of women VCs is just young, so getting women [LPs] to understand and engage in this opportunity is an educational and intentional effort.
